Since launching this online shop on the 10th of May I have received many orders – it has been incredible and I feel super lucky to have so many lovely people wanting to buy my pottery for themselves and as a gift for others.
SO I AM ANNOUNCING MY PERSONALISED GIFT SERVICE, where I will hand write your personal message and send it along with your chosen gift to the lucky recipient. Having now done this quite a lot, the results are speaking for themselves with many happy and surprised recipients leaving messages of thanks.

Welcome
I enrolled for one pottery evening class to see if I liked it and also to see if there were any artistic genes present in my body… I realised I didn’t like it… I LOVED IT!
I then had to sign up for three more courses before the frustration of waiting for the class kiln to fire my work forced me into buying my own small second-hand kiln and I have never looked back. Fast forward 9 years and a couple of tons of porcelain later, a larger kiln, a conversion of our garage and some of the house into my pottery domain and I have never been more enamoured by the pastry-like clay known as ‘Porcelain’.
I live in the quirky village of Shaldon, close to Teignmouth on the South West coast; Shaldon is full of cottages that are all different shapes and sizes, many quirky, all of varying shades and colours. The exuberant village surroundings inspired me and I began to think about making little tea-light houses with bright glazes and patterned roofs with seagulls on the top.
They sold faster than I could make them!
Each batch sold, then another and another and now customers are buying villages and small towns! I have some serious collectors and can barely keep up with demand.
We have lots of different boats bobbing on our wonderful River Teign estuary; these have also been a great inspiration for me. I make my own interpretation of the fabulous fishing boats and also wall hanging boats with bright bunting, all shapes and sizes, as well as lots of other sea-side inspired ceramics.
At the beginning of 2019, I focused on developing several opaque pieces where light would shine through and make the porcelain dance and glow.
I was drawn to making a vessel that could be used for two purposes… following months and months of making and testing my Luxury Candle Vase was created.
Two gifts for the price of one, a luxury fragranced candle and then a vase all wrapped up in a beautiful blue box, up cycling at its best.
Everything that I make is bespoke and handmade, nothing is slip-cast. I prefer to use porcelain as my medium as I find that a true depth of colour can be achieved. Some creations change shape and warp in the kiln, but I believe this only adds to enhancing their uniqueness.
I supply to a few select galleries and shops in between Shetland and Devon.
My items range in price from £5 to £450, please get in touch for full details.
